I was really pleased by how useful most of the characters were, just like in Mario 2. Even if you love one character and want to play through the whole game as them, there are occasionally sections that are much easier or much more fun with another character.
The only version of Super Mario Bros. you will ever need to play, ever again: Super Mario Bros. Crossover.
